Bob stepped down the steps and went over to Junior and took him by the arm and walked off a little ways with him and leaned in to talk quietly with him. Just then a car pulled up in front of the house, it was the sheriff. Liz and Josie were the first to get up and they just turned and ran back out through the back door, Jackie and Billy followed.
