Then I picked up one of Suze Orman’s books that someone had left in our apartment building’s downstairs “library” because I heard her speak at the NJ Governor’s Conference on Women last Wednesday afternoon. Right now I have a stack of books on the era and area pertaining to the proposal I’m crafting, which I keep turning to as I write my sample chapters. XXX I’m also still reading “The Tea Rose,” by Jennifer Donnelly, which I started a few weeks ago, but haven’t had long stretches of free time to devote to it, since things like my career keep cropping up.
