John reacted in pure seconds as Joe swung the knife at John. Flo took me into her arms as she said, “I had to have you alone as John would not allow me to join you both.” Flo kissed me then she added, “I hope someday that changes for I know now why John adores you like he does.”
I was going to ask her just what that reason was. XXX I grabbed my keys and drove to the sheriff’s station. “You two,” I replied smiling at John as Sherri once again cuddled up against him. “If it is OK with you I would like to take you and her to that happy place I have told you about,” John added.
